This beautiful Heather honey sourced from the award-winning ‘The Bee Centre’ in Brindle, Lancashire.

It is a firm favourite with our customers, who value its excellent flavour and outstanding health properties. Stronger in flavour than our Wildflower, Blossom and Soft Set honeys, this Heather Honey has a luxurious taste that appeals to those who really appreciate its premium nature. This is also the honey that goes into our special edition dark and milk chocolates. Having a stronger flavour it works well with other foods. Personally, we like it on oatcakes with a good quality cheese (a blue cheese, mature cheddar or, of course, some crumbly Lancashire). It’s also great in a ‘hot toddy’, but remember to let the water cool a bit before adding the honey. Customers report a wide variety of medicinal responses from dealing with acid reflux, indigestion and IBS, through sore throats and coughs to helping control skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, cuts and ulcers.

These honeys are all natural products. Consequently, colour, consistency and flavour may vary from image and from jar to jar. It is normal for this natural honey to granulate over time. It is not going off. It just needs to be lightly warmed (e.g. sat on a cloth on a warm radiator) until it re-liquifies. Unsuitable for infants under 12 months of age.
